SWEET petstore find....

gardenmum Apr 03, 2006 03:03 PM

I went to one of the pet stores yesterday that take my normal corn babies and found they had five adult/yound adult ball pythons for sale. A friend of the owner was moving and the place he was moving to would not accept snakes so he had to part with them. This girl was one of them and was so pretty I had to take her home. What a nice very light normal she is!! AND super calm to hold. I am very happy with this purchase.

Two pics are taken indoors with flash and one outside in sun with no flash.

my favorite morph too (normal)

Do you have a rough guess at how old she is? I'm going to be buying a hatchling female this summer to mate with my male (who is just a baby himself still ). One of the greatest things about reptiles is watching them grow up.

So you breed corns? How's that working out for you? I'd like to get a cornsnake some time, but right now I'm trying to keep everything simple (by trying to keep only a few different species of reptile....I'm up to 5 species right now).

She would be nice to breed to a Pastel where she is so light and clean

but I don't think pastels will be in my price range for a while. I have a neat, odd looking male I got from Dan & Colette (The Snake Keeper) that I will pair up with her next season. But yeah, a pastel with her would be great. Thanks.

That sounds cool ... I'd love to see a pic of him ... Colette and Dan have some outstanding animals
