Hi all, my business trip is going to end with some time off in Rhode Island. Does anyone know any cool reptile places (parks, zoo's or muesems) to visit there? My friend lives in Providence and I'll be flying into Boston.... I figured I'd see if anyone has some east coast recommendations. Let me know! If not, I guess I just hang out in a house boat with some margaritas and some corona's! If I have enough of them, I may just get brave enough to pull a Billy and go reptile huntin'!! lol.

When are you going to be there? There is a retailer called Regal Reptiles in Providence. I have never been there but see them at the show. They have a reptile "zoo" - I linked below. If you are around April 15th you can come up to the Manchester Show. Maybe hour 1/2 drive from RI. Black Jungle is in western, MA. www.blackjungle.com/

Flying into Boston friday morning and leaving tuesday morning for detroit then back to seattle on friday. I'm excited! My friend is really a by the book type of person, so he want's to have everything planned ahead.... gotta keep to the schedule! LOL, somehow me and schedules don't mix.... If I can find you in the "woods by the river" I'll knock on your door!!

Ha Ha Lele!! I would come visit you, but all I know about where you live is it's cold, it's in the woods and by a river.... lol, I could be searching for you all weekend!

actually, I am about 2 hours north of RI and our weather is not much different from their's. In fact, this winter southern New England got more snow than N. New England! UGH! very frustrating for those of us with snowshoes!

I have a friend in Seattle (I'll get out there some day) and your spring seems to begin only a few weeks before ours.

A few nights ago I sat and watched a pair of beaver munching on their dinner about 15 feet away from me. Woods and River is a good thing
