Leaf chameleons, of course

By the way, I don't have any pygmies yet, but will in the near future. Who among y'all have had sudden, within days, leaf cham deaths, or any pygmy cham species deaths, please list the sex and age, if known. We will give the replies a day or so to accumulate. We need to know this so we can tell if it is a rampant problem or isolated incidents.

Hi,

Even armed with knowing the problems that several of us have recently experienced probably won't help much. The variables of wc vs. cb, breeder, supplements and so much more. Might I ask WHY you are getting leaf chams after all that you have witnessed here? Are you getting brevi's or ulu's or another? cb or wc? Have you decided on a breeder?

The info on that parasite can't be known unless we have all done fecals and or necropsies (and I don't think any of us did) tho if I lose Bart I will definitely have it done - provided I can afford the $175!

As for my trio, Kaiya died from aspiration and seemed fine (except for the foot thing and that was from a shed problem) so had that not happened who knows if she would end up like Makeda or Bart. AND we don't know (tho' I do suspect,) that they have/had the same problem.

What I CAN say is that I learend a lot and probably the most important was how to administer medication (or even water) to one of these little peewees! Had I used the catheter tube on Kaiya that I am using for Bart my guess is she would still be alive.

Ask as many ??? as you like and I will do my best to help you out with my crisis lessons of the last few days. Also, thanks for all your help and support
