I think it does, but I mean this ONLY in a constructive way! It is a nice pic, but you can clearly see that there isn't a single focus point (the 2nd/3rd labials are close, but not pin sharp).

Advice:
1/ Use a tripod
2/ Can your camera focus that close? If it's a couple of M.Pixel camera, to be honest, you don't have to get so close, just crop the picture.
3/ Depth of field - as you can see there is VERY limited depth of field in this photo. Although this works for some images it's not quite working here. Again, not trying to get so close, using a wider zoom, will increase your D.O.F.
4/ Avoid getting 'clutter' in the pic that spoild the image. eg. the cage (?) at the bottom of the pic; the light area in the top right of the pic.

Again, these are honestly meant to be constructive, please don't anyone jump on me. You're getting there...it does take time...and a lot of patience!

beautiful rainbows you have Dave. Its really hard to capture them with a camera but alot of fun experimenting with different settings. Keep posting your latest efforts.
Old picks I'm posting but I've not had the opportunity to take any recent ones (thats going to change here soon).
