in continuing with the pic theme of posters I thought it would be cool to find out what every does to support there favorite hobby. Kind of gives a good reference as to the diversity of people who come together for a common pass time. Me I'm a cop in Richmond, VA.

i am currently unemployed but my hubby works for POP-A-LOCK. and we reside in Chesterfield, va with all our critters. as soon as i find out how to do a signiature at the bottom i'll post what all i have.

I was LP, promoted to Merch senior, then got my own position as the store functionality tech. I quit because they were not willing to put me down to part time. I was willing to take a pay cut and everything. it is amazing that you could be a key part of a company(they still haven't been able to replace me after 7 months), work for years and them not willing to bend at all.

So, I am not working, but going to school to be a vet tech.

I'm not too far from Richmond. New Kent co. I'm about halfway between Richmond & Williamburg. I work on aircrew survival equipment full time as a civilian & also do the same job part time in the military/reserves.
Speaking of Ashland, have you've been in Fin & Feather?

yeah I've been in Fin and Feather. The one in Lakeside is better than the one in Ashland but they are both over priced. If you have never been to Noah's Pets in Chesterfield it is well worth the trip. The have an "in" with a corn breeder there. I purchased a 3 year old 4 foot butter corn for $69 and a 3 year old 40 inch Anery for $60, both males of course but you can't get that kinda deal at the shows or on the internet. They have a great reptile room setup and are very knowledgeable about the snakes and monitors..a rarity in the pet store world!!

Hey!, I'm familiar with Noah's on Midlothian.I've been doing alot of trading with Lang, (the owner)for years.He has gotten lots of candycane corns & bearded dragons from me to name a few.

Hey cool, I've seen the candy canes and beardies, they are great looking animals!! I bought a male butter corn from him this past winter, was he yours also? He eats like a pig.

i LOVE noahs!!! i got my romeo from there for $69 and hes breeding my miami now... not really sure if hes an extra orange normal or a hypo. but hes HUGE!! such a sweetie too. i think he actually craves to be held. i even take him on car rides hes so tame. its so cute watching him look out the window. and speaking of candy canes. i got one when i was lil from noahs and it died i was soooo heart broken. and not too long ago i bought a baby coral snow from noahs and it died too... so i dont know if i should buy any more babies from there....i might give them one more try with babies....other than that i'll stick with the fish and snakes. I love their parrot fish!!! ok i'll stop rambling ~kin

Yes, I've been to both of the Fin & Feather stores. The owner of the one in Ashland, "Mark", used to work at the one at Lakeside a long time ago. I have not been to the one in Ashland in a long time, but I do go to the Lakeside store ever so often. One of the employees that works at Lakeside, "Shane" is a friend of mine.
I have been to Noah's Pets, and I have sold and traded a few animals, which would include an adult male butter. You may very well have purchased one of my butters that I did on a trade a while back. He would be a 2002 male, nice white borders around the butterscotch colord saddles. I thought I had pics of that particular butter, but can't seem to find them at the moment. You'll have to post some pics when you get the chance.

I am in the Army stationed in DC. It sure makes it hard to keep a collection going wiht all the deployments. I have given up my entire collection 3 times so far but I am getting out hopefully this summer after 15 years so maybe I can actually KEEP some of my hatchlings this year.

i work as a nurses assistant in a rest home with people who are mentally ill, but i keep damaging nerves in my back and i suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome, so i am starting school in june for dog grooming.......but i will work with my patients part time.

I'm a supervisor for an electrical supply company. I live on Long Island NY with my wife and ALOT of pets.

Well I'm mainly a watcher in this forum but I do have a couple corns, a pair of reverse okeetee's, an albino and a nice candy cane. And other than the braz rainbow the rest of my collection is ball pythons. Now to the fun stuff, I work full time as a Unit Coordinator on a respitory floor at a hospital in sarasota florida and I'm a full time student at Edison College in Punta Gorda, Florida. The good news is that I've wrote letters to my congressman to lengthen the days to 28 hrs so I can have time to do everything I need to do .
