skinny suri

ive got a skinny suri she is about 7'..she was a rescue and she has recently been dewormed..my question is whats the best way to get her to gain some weight..i raise all my own rats so food is not an issue..whats the best feeding schedule to put her on??

Do it gradually, and do not rush her or may have some problems. I have one Female that stop eating for a bit a now, boy now she is eating everything.
Just be patience.

ok thanks for the help..i just got worried cause you can feel her bones shes so skinny..her prior owners just didn't take care of her..do you know how long it could take for her to start gaining weight?

First, please just one rodent per feeding, this is a suri, the last thing you need now is a regurg on your hands. Offer that girl a rodent as wide as she is at her widest part, and here is the difference from a maintenace schedule, offer her food every ten days as long as you have seen her poop first. If she hasn't just wait, and when she is a healthy weight again go to a longer schedule between feedings. Make sure her temps are perfect too as warmth makes digestion happen faster. It's healthy for her to put weight on slowly, and you can see hat this schedule is self adjusting too.
