Ok heres the deal. i would really like to have a blizzard pair, i really like the look of them, but the breeder i know only has normals. Theres the Toronto show in September and i could wait but this particular breeder is so great and i'm so confident i'll get nice healthy geckos and i'm rather scared to purchase from anywhere else. So for anyone who has been at the Toronto show before, are there any great breeders you would recommend for blizzard geckos? I'm still working on the tank for a male and the 40 gal should arrive soon (hoped to have it by now lol). i'll post pics of the finished tanks asap so i can get input on them before they become homes.

Just order some online many on the ads on KS, most people never have problems haing them be shipped. I myself had 2 great female blizzard just last week shipped to me

I could yes, ship some in but remember i'm Canadian and theres fewer breeders up here than in the US. I also like to see what i'm getting before i buy....just a quirk of mine. If all else fails i'll go that avenue, i've already looked into it but for now i'd like to find a breeder where i could go see the animals . Like at the show i guess. I'm mainly seeking the input of those who have purchased geckos from people at the show and what they think about the breeders there (good and bad points, those they really liked etc.)

P.S. i don't have a problem with normals by the way..... i like them too, heck i like them all, i just would *like* to have a blizzard lol

just go to the show, and start scoping out the blizzards as well as the other animals on the tables. if all the breeders animals look healthy and well fed then that most likely means this is a reputable source. the condition of the animals will speak for the breeder and you won't need to ask people about them. good luck in finding some new leos!!!

I'm so nervous about going to this show. I'm not big on going to the city in the first place and i'll most likely be going alone. I actually prefer to go alone, that part is Ok...its the driving in the city part i hate lol
I'll check out whats there and hopefully be bringing some new family members home

Hi Red,
I was at the last show in Toronto July 6th. I purchased 2 beautiful hypo tangs from High Quality reptiles, I couldn't be happier. You should check out www.tarzet.net they were at that show, and had beautiful animals. They have nice blizzards, and other nice morphs. Go check them out, That's who I'd recommend. Hope this help you out.

Hi, thanks so much. Actually i've got their site bookmarked.....been there a few times and your right....great looking geckos. I so wanted to go to the July6th show. I just couldnt' get the time off work I'm pretty much doing double shifts all next month so hopefully that will earn me a weekend off hehehe.

Do you plan on going to the september show? I'd really like to get together with other gecko lovers There isn't many out my way lol. Most people see me as weird
