Got a picture of Helen the other day and figured I'd share. She's my favorite of my females. Probably because she's the one that'll eat She does have a few things about her that I think are cutter though. Like the pale patches on each side of her neck. I think people call those markings "flames" or something?

Thanks And credit on the names also goes to my Mom too.

Helen and Eurydice are named for CruxShadows songs and I'll probably have a few more like them.

Hoss, Adam, and Little Man are from Bonanza.

Legolas and Orlando for elven and LOTR refernces.

Sidhe is also refernce to elfs. Sidhe=people of the hills (aka elfs, fairy, ect) in Gaelic. I also had a king name Siobhan once and traded her. Didn't like the snake, but liked the name, so I might use it again at some point.

Akasha and Enkil from Anne Rice.

And Kissy the Red is because Mom would sit there with a pinky to his nose going kissy,kissy,kissy till he'd take it and he's a redish colored baby. Also a friend of mine who I like alot had taken a 'Find your Viking name' Quiz and that was the name she got

I try for interesting names.

I think that's all for right now. Still waiting on the two balls to eat so I'll name them and Mom to decide on her two corns. We have veto power over each other if we really hate a name

Happened to think and found pics of one of the rehabs. Figure people might like to see. Even though Mom is holding one of these guys that doesn't mean they're tame. They don't tolerate us after they're released and don't like strangers at anytime.

Oh Nisa, I love raccoons. You have so many animals ... even a horse. I know it must be a lot of work, but you are so lucky to have so many great animals. I love the wild animals that come around my house to eat at night. Here's a pic of an oppossum that comes here. Seeing as how you love raccoons, maybe you like opposums too!!

I like most any animal. Possums are neat creatures, very misunderstood by most about like racoons and skunks. Only time me and Mom got tierd of them was a few years back when we had 90 babies in like 3 months. If you've not guessed we do rehab. It gets busy and hectic, but we love doing it.

The horse is enjoying retirement. I'd always wanted one and she's a good girl 26 years old this year. I got her when she was 17. Which we're the same age give or take a few months. Pretty good for a WC Got her round-up papers.

And I don't have a pic I can post, but if you go to this website and find the one listed as "Beloved Big Mama" That is one of my babies. She died of cancer years ago.

What a great site ... I love all those skunk pictures. You and your mum must get real tired taking care of so many animals. I can't imagine having 90 oppossums. As wonderful as they are, rehab is a lot of work. Thank god for people like you and your mother. Keep up the good work
