Is it one of those ones with the metal disks? I have heard that reptiles can be exoctrocuted by them.

Im not sure I havent really investigated what kind of foggers are availible. Before I did that I wanted to know will the fog itself harm the turtles?
The fog shouldn't hurt them, but it will make a mess of the glass walls in the tank, as the minerals form the water will frost the glass. I have had that happen in a lot of my frog tanks where the humidity was required.
