New Shield Tail Agama Trio 1.2

pgross8245 Apr 04, 2006 10:45 AM

After looking for about a year and a half, I finally received a trio of shield tails today. They were from a rescue facility and all are healthy. The male is perfect in every way, but one female has a broken tail and is missing 2 front toes, the other female's tail is damaged and she has an extra digit on her front foot. The male is really interesting when he gets fired up, his face looks like he dipped himself in an inkpot. I am excited to get these little guys and hope one day to maybe be fortunate enough to be able to get some little ones. Thanks for looking.

Pam

Congrats on the new trio! They're such adorable little things. And from a rescue facility - couldn't be better! I'm glad they'll be in such a good home now.

they are so cute and i love those males and their throats! it's a good thing human males don't do that

so what does a broken tail mean exactly? she can't move it? will it ever heal? and if you have the time get a picture of that extra toe, those types of things amaze me, ha ha

Hi Tom,

I got these from a rescue in New York, so they don't have any more. I would like two more females myself as they prefer to be on colonies and more females supposedly induces breeding. I am waiting to see of any come in either at kcrd or glades as they have them from time to time. They are really cute little guys, and the boy is already doing pushups and head bobbing. I will post if I find any more or you can e-mail me and I can contact you privately. Where did your girls come from?
