One of my teachers a few years ago who got me into all my herps used to breed them for his class. And I wanted some to feed to my frogs on a regular basis so he gave me a stock of them. You basically just need quite a few sexually mature ones, this is when they the band around the front portion of their body that sticks out from the rest of their body. Put them in a big container with dirt, I use a big 10 gallon tupperware container thing, with some holes poked in the top and along the sides. I started out with a bucketfull of dirt he gave me with the worms in it from his main culture, you can probably use whatever type of dirt you want, just try to get the stuff that doesn't have fertilizers. I feed my worms, vegetable matter scraps, newspaper and yard waste matter. I have hundreds of thousands of earth worms in there, I can turn up a square inch of soil and I'll see like 10 worms. Every spring I take out about a third of the dirt and move it to my dad's garden just to keep it more fresh. Sorry this is kind of long, I need something to do this summer!

What mark described above works with red worms, also known as compost worms. They have a wide range of temperature tolerance. You can order them from different places.
The night crawlers that you get for bait need a lower temp.
