something i have noticed in greens

myself like kelly i have worked with a few wild caught green anacondas all were males and they had nasty dispositions and they didnt want to eat anything once you did get them eatting they would still just up and go on a fast and not eat again it just was stressfull for me and the snakes both and i ended up selling them but after a few years i just started to miss working with anacondas and i had never owned a female green so i said i will try this one more time and see what happens well i went with a captive bred green anaconda this time instead of wild caught and there is just a huge difference this snake loves to eat she takes frozen thawed for me everytime i offer it to her and she is one of the sweetest snakes in my collection i never thought in a million years that i would have a docile green anaconda because all i have ever worked with were wild caughts if more people get together and produce docile green anacondas like what kelly haller is doing producing good snakes that are strong feeders and have a gentle disposition i think more people will get into greens we just have to get people past the image of aggressive snakes that dont eat and also the image that anacondas need huge water tubs to thrive if we get the information out that anacondas can be kept just like any other high humidity snake i think their popularity will increase

True! The more docile CB anacondas there are the more popular they will be. True for yellows and greens.
Captive Born Reptiles in Ohio also produce some beautiful CB's that eat well and have good dispositions as do Kelly and Judd. I am new to this forum but have raised anacondas since 1998 when I got my first pair of yellows.
These snakes are so unique!
Gotta Love 'em!
Cheers
