New to ball pythons

bucko Apr 04, 2006 06:40 PM

Ok i am doing a project for school that involves me setting up a cage for a ball python and then taking care of it. I need the closest substrate to their natural hapitat as possible. Also and other general tips for a soon to be new ball python owner would be great. I have snake experiance already just not on this specific species. Thank you for you time.

i would think a mixture of dirt and bark would be the closest thing to their natural habitat. also ive been told you can use coconut bedding (it comes in a brick and you just mix with water) and that looks pretty natural also. dude thats an awesome project for school, i wish we had those when i was in school..
