Hello. I'm relatively new to cornsnakes, but totally enjoying my little bugger! She(?) is almost a year old, and quite friendly. She comes out when she feels the vibration of someone entering the room where her tank is, but she's mostly interested in being fed. She's been scarfing down three to four full-grown mice a week, and wanting more. I don't want to over-feed her, or gorge her too much--just keep her satisfied and happy and healthy. I'm used to hearing about snakes eating a meal and then waiting a month or more, but I'm getting the feeling that this is for other species of snakes! Anyway, she's too small to feed her adult rats (which is the only size available in my area), but mice are plentiful. It has been suggested that she is trying to bulk up for potential mating action, but I'm not planning on mating her, and I'm not even sure it's a female. Any thoughts, anyone? Thanks!
