So, my baby ball python went through a month of not feeding (might infestation), and last week he went back on feed. I was amazed that he ate two small mice (he's about 18-20" long right now). Yesterday he ate one of the larger of the small mice I have frozen, and today he was in his ambush position, so I figured he was still hungry. He just finished his second mouse of the night, making this week's total 3 small mice. Granted he did lose some weight (and a bit of girth) while infested with mites, I think this is crazy! Is he going to slow down once he's back on track, or do you think he's probably just going to be a big eater.

On a side note, I'll never stick my hand in front of the entrance of any of his hide boxes!!! He is ferocious!
