New Kingsnake owner

I just ppurchased a Desert albino King snake (at least thats what the owner told us it was. ).I have him in a small critter carrier, just for quarintine. He's got a small coconut hide and a small water dish. Is this okay and how long (or do i even need to) quarentine him?

Also, some pictures of my new baby:
(I've never seen markings like his on any snake, and the owner said he hadn't either.uncommon coloration?)
