Would this thermostat be ok for a 10 snake rack that is only using 100 watts of Flexwatt?

I think you might be better off with the BAH 1000 from BiG Apple Herps.

http://www.bigappleherp.com/Reptile_Supplies/Product/Electronic_BAH1000_Thermostat_924105.html

I use one and it works fine in a flexwatt application.

It can handle 1000watts and is only $33.00.

They (B.A. Herps) are easy to deal with and I have received all my orders promptly.

I'm not sure where you are located, however, I am on the east coast and I receive my orders the next day or the day after when I choose the least expensive ground option for shipping.

Good luck - Alan

I use a few...
1 Johnson Controls (1500watt), on/off only
2 Herpstats (500 watt each),on/off and proportional modes,& more.

I also have one of each of the lower priced models already mentioned...but as soon as i buy two more high end models...they will get thrown out...and i will sleep better too.

Alot of people swear by the Rancos as well.
Another nice one.
