Yea, I thought just like you until I started researching them. If you go to alexhuereptiles.com there is a cool story of them, the "mack" snows are basically het for super snows and that is what you are trying to achieve. the regular snows really only show a difference for the first couple of months after hatching so it's then that you know you have a snow. Many still keep less yellow as they get older but some look a lot like a regular old leo. But when you breed two mack snows together then you can get a super snow and they look a lot different then a regular leo. Pure black and white. Super snows hatch out almost black with no pattern it's only later than the white starts coming in. albeys to cool reptiles also has some great pics of this and some nice macks. If I am wrong on any of this I am sure someone will correct me
Hope this helps
Super snows also have solid black eyes.... If the mack snows are not exciting enough, well there is a crap load of morphs it can be mixed with....
If a new genetic morph is not cool to you, what is???
