Here are pictures from the promotion the other day, I along with the the other 3 people got promoted to Corporal, a non commisiong officer, the other Marine (the one in the back while marching) was promoted to Sgt.
I was promoted pretty quick I have only been in the Marines for a year and 5 months and have been promoted to a rank some dont see in there 4 year enlistment, I will hopefully be promoted to Sgt by at the latest this time next year. Just wanted to share some photos, thanks for looking

Congratulations, That really shows the difference in the individual promotion cerimonies among the services.

I myself am a E-5 in the Air Force we don't do anything that fancy! Just shake the commanders hand give him a salute and off we go.

Its good to see that you do your duty as well as keep up in the hobby, something that is getting harder to do.

Thanks, I think the main difference as well is that you all have your rank sewn on ours are pinned, I have a friend in the Airforce she had a promotion like what you are talking about, keeping up in the hobby is pretty difficult in the Military especially if you get sent overseas like myself, I have been stationed in Okinawa for a yr and it sucks being away from my animals.

I thought in the military you weren't allowed to have visible tattoos? Did they change that or something?

Yeah, they changed it I know they have it where if you want to become a drill instructor, Recruiter, or any of those other B billets you cannot have tattoos visible, I also think it wasnt ment as any visible but visible in the dress uniform IE the Service Alphas or the Dress Blues.
