Hypo Snow Pictures.........Finally lol..

locolizard Apr 05, 2006 01:11 PM

Ill just let you see what i did when i first walked in.

Woohoo, what is that back there?

Snow? I better take a closer look!

WOW! It really is a snow! And from what i can tell, it looks like a hypo as well!

Thoughts and comments will be much appreciated!

Ill post pics of the entire litter later. This was a select handful i picked out to photograph together, anyone notice the Orangasm hypo on the left that is glowing orange? I am pretty sure there are several that the orangasm trait passed onto and its amazing!

Much thanks to Frank for producing these parents and Ryan Homsey for trading me the male!

And thanks to everyones words of excitement below!

That snow is definately a hypo. Congrats on being the first to produce the first hypo snow or whatever name you choose to give it. You have some KILLER SUNGLOWS in that litter as well. Some of the best I've seen. And I just can't get over that orangasm hypo with the screaming sides. WOW!!!! Major congrats Mark.

I produced a litter 4 days ago from a hypo male 100% het albino 50 % het anery to a Frank Martin Dh snow female. Well the anery proved out. However, I did not have the great luck that you did.

The litter consisted of nine live. 3 normals, 3 anery, 3 hypo

7 Still born (full on babies) 2 ghost, 1 anery, 3 hypo and one snow (possible snoglow) I've got it in the freezer for evidence, however it looked very similar to yours.

3 pills

Anyways, Major congrats!!!!!!

Locolizard Apr 05, 2006 02:10 PM

Sorry to hear your litter wasnt what you hoped for, but at least your male proved out! and you did get some good babies!

Thanks, and if you have pics of your possible hypo snow, please share!

justin_higgs Apr 05, 2006 02:15 PM

Will do!

Randall_Turner Apr 05, 2006 01:43 PM

I hope that snow is a hypo snow, hard to tell, but I can see what you mean on thinking its hypo (the blotch tail saddles and reduced saddles up its back look promising) When I first looked I thought "no way, too close to a normal snow, but looked again at the close up pix and it does look the part.

Congratulations.

Avalanche, Snow-glow, Albino Ghost, Anery Sunglow, come on you get the perks!

The Sunglows look to have a nice dose of Orangasm in them as well.

And from what I can tell, and pictures aren't good for it, it looks like a HYPO SNOW!

Pinched saddles, no outline on the tail blotches, and more definition between the side medalions to the side color.

I hope that little genetic wonder is a male, we need more!

Looks like hypo saddles to me! Is that what you see?

Locolizard Apr 05, 2006 02:13 PM

Like a hypo to me, i have compared it to the other animals in the litter and it is very similar to the saddle outlines on the sunglows and the ghost and normal hypos.

As for the name, I havent decided yet, tuff decision lol.

creptilia Apr 05, 2006 02:12 PM

a reduced pattern Snow. I was hoping something weird would happen, but it is perfecty fine. This animal is a GENETIC WONDER! DO YOU ALL UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS ANIMAL CAN DO??? I would not sell that thing for 100K at this point. Simply put him/her to a ... lets say a Motley, and you can get a Hypo Motley het for Albino and Anery (a QUADRUPLE MORPH)! Anything you put this animal to will be amazing. I am telling you, Triples (of any variation) are the key to producing outrageous morphs with multiple variation in just ONE litter!

Good Job.

Are you going to change the name?

I thought it would have been more lavender in color, but I want to see it when it sheds. And I think it will look even more amazing after a few sheds. Those sunglows are amazing!

What a fantastic litter and a Hypo Snow to boot! Sean and I looked at the photos closely and we both definitely agree with you based on the saddle shapes, tail shapes, and color markings - definitely a Hypo Snow!! Amazing!

And I would have to agree with Ron on the potential of that beauty! Is it a male or a female? A Hypo Snow Motley would be pretty cool I think!

Congrats again!!!

Thanks,
Celia

That Orangasm Hypo is a SCREAMER!!!! even now!!!!!

The contrast between those sunglows and the snow are fantastic!

Considering I can't see any outlining on that snow, I would also think it is hypo.

Congrats man!

All the best!

I am super excited, I gently rubbed my finger alng the tail of the "white nameless creature" and I am pretty sure i felt hemipenes! WOW, cloud nine is a mile down from where i am right now lol!

Thanks again for everyones shared excitement and opinions on wether or not it was a hypo or not, I know when i first saw it, i stared for a LONG time lol. If this guy is a male, then he has a female motley that is 50% het albino to prove out in two years lol.

RyanHomsey Apr 05, 2006 04:49 PM

Boy did our trade pay off. This coral sunglow better produce for me next season you bum!!! (just playing)

It's one thing to have a Snow Hypo, but to back it up with Orangasm Sunglows! That must be the best feeling in the world right now. Really happy for you Mark. Job well done.

Congrats, I love the look on that Hypo in the first picture, I also thought it might have looked a little different but still a great looking animal, so what are you going to call it? Snowglow Avalanche?

skyslinger Apr 05, 2006 06:02 PM

That is REALLY awesome! I figured the pattern would be the only difference from a snow but like you said, 'Look what it can produce'. Congratulations and awsome sunglows!

All the snows I have seen do not have red eyes.By the way, great job.I can only imagine how you are feeling right now.

RyanHomsey Apr 05, 2006 07:29 PM

Snowglow .. snow .. or albino .. etc

Its eyes are red because its "pupils" are dialated due to it being dark to some degree in the room... their eyes dont have time to return to normal (not dialated) in a flash picture.

The lack of border around the tail splotches is what sets it off to me.

Because if I look at my male albino under low light conditions he has orange eyes.I have never seen a picture of a snow where thier eyes were not white(stress white),unfortunately I do not own a snow.JOHN!
P.S. I am not trying to be argumenative, just trying to understand how what you are saying about no pigment in the albino's eyes and mine are orange. Is he special,I would say just your average albino, but special to me.Thanks!

dnreptiles Apr 05, 2006 08:26 PM

WOW. CONGRATS! Looks like you have a lot of little babies on your hands. ill take one of those albinos from you !!!

slithering_serpents Apr 05, 2006 09:20 PM

I expected to see snow looking saddles on a pink sunglow like background with hypo traits in the pattern. What really convinces me is that closeup of the tail. I can actually see the blush of pink around those cool saddles. I will bet that pink will come out more now too. I hope so. Congrats ...that is the most awesome litter. You should be very proud. I hope you will share some pics as that little baby grows up too.

Thanks so much for sharing,
Caden

Jeremy Stone Apr 06, 2006 12:26 AM

Congratulations on producing that animal. It looks very cool. It will be very interesting to see how it looks as it ages. Snows are so different from babies as they are adults. That would be sooo cool if you could keep that look into adulthood. If you breed him and he produces hypos then there is NO doubt he is a Sunglow/ghost/snow/..... Think of all the combos in that. What a greatttt snake to produce. That is a really rare combo, 1 out of 32 should be a Snow/Hypo.... So, you really hit the jackpot!!!!

I have been so busy with the Family, that I haven't posted all congrats to everyone who have been producing some AWESOME LITTERS!!!!! Congrats to everyone so far. Looks like it is a good start to the Boas.

CONGRATS AGAIN Mark, not only is the Snow nice, but the Ghost, the Hypo, and the Sunglows are AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I bet that orangazim line of Franks is going to make some incredible sunglows too.

Best of luck,

Jeremy Stone

You must be so excited. How did it feel to look at that animal and know you were the first to ever see a live hyposnow. It must be hard to stop looking at it. I look foward to seeing what you will name it. I have been hoping for a name like avalanche, glacier or blizzard since no one has produced a blizzard so far. At any rate, congratulations and enjoy that most unusual snake that at least for now is one of a kind.

Congrats on that entire litter...
I am crazy about the white eyes on the snowglow.
Now get your sock stained fingers off him before you smudge him up

That's one crazy snake. Awesome animal!
