Jen, not regularly, or at least not regularly for along time. The last one was last week and since most of us had fun, another was scheduled for tonight by Michele.

I wish i could come guys... I love chattin' with fellow herpers, but somethin is up with my computer...I have done everything i could to fix it and nothin works...IS there anybody i should contact?

Usually me and PHEve and sometimes ankinc are there, but nobody else....

Whats really weird is it works on everything else,BUT kingsnake chat! Talk about a load S***!

if it is only on one site you might want to check your browser setttings as well as firewall. One way to check is disable your security for a little while and try to get into the chat. If it works then it is a security setting - just don't forget to enable your security again! good luck!

I was going CRAZY trying to figure out why I could not use excel tables in my work software (engineering stuff) and was getting really pissed! I contacted tech support, tried a couple Pro/E forums for help - nothing. Then i thought - aha! So I disabled my Security (firewall, AV , scripts, etc.) and it worked. Then I had to figure out which setting it was but not too hard. Now all is happy in the land of plastic and metal - and my income! lol!

How do you do all that stuff that you just reccomended? Im no computer wiz...LOL so...Where would i start? Im struggling and am afraid i'll screw my computer up!

Well, it's not LELE but...click on your software for virus or firewall. Mine is Mcafee and has everything on one window. Click on firewall, then internet conections (or something simiular). This should bring up a whole list of items and let u know whether it is blocked or not.

Hopefully this will help.

If you can't find anything that lists KS, then disable your fire wall (not that big of a deal) then access the chat. Once done, re-enable and run virus scan to catch any pop ups or adware.

if you use McAffe do as Kris said. I use Symantec/Norton which has a different setup, etc. Figuring out your problem here is not really appropriate - need too much info about your system and there would be lots of troubleshooting. But there are LOTS of online forums for this sort of thing. You can even go to Java's site and use their knowledge base/message board (whatever they have) and post/search.

You can also try switching browsers. I personally dislike Internet Explorer and use Firefox - much better, VERY few problems. Sorry I can't help more.
