system ? My friend just left from Alpine and told me gas prices there was at over $3.00 and at $3.29 south ( Big Bend region ). And the lodging facilities was up to about 20%. For you all ( including me ) that makes that pilgrimage every year or more, will you still go ? Of course you will but it may be time for that buddy system ! LOL !

And I have been using the buddy system to split cost for a while now.
This year I plan to cut a few cost by traveling stocked on food and drinks. That stuff is expensive that way too.
