Snowglow would definetely be real easy to remember, although I like the stupid sound that snowghlost has. (along with the goofy spelling)

I would reserve it for the Hypo version of the original Pearl.

ChrisGilbert Apr 06, 2006 11:29 AM

if he is going to give it a creative name. It would be better to wait and see what it looks like as it gets older.

If it stays white I like Avalanche. If it gets bright yellow, I think Glacier is cool.

While Snowglow would keep it simple, creative names are part of the perks to produceing a new morph.

Well Mark?

giantkeeper Apr 06, 2006 02:23 PM

it is not a new morph, but a combination of existing traits, that is why I say keep it simple.... ;O)

I regard it on the same principle. Just as when the first Snow, Ghost, and Sunglows were produced. They could have been called Albino Anerys, Hypo Anerys, and Hypo Albinos. Granted the names were derived from the Corn Snake mutations that existed long before.

LOOK LIKE??? I really had no idea what to expect. It will be interesting to see how this little gem looks in a year or so.

I thought it might be a bit more different than a regular snow. Looks pretty much just like a snow at this point. I think it's possible that the yellow will be more fluorescent or glowing as it matures.

I was leaning towards lol! I really like MoonGlow! It is very original, and exactly what it looks like in my opinion. I thought of moonglow early this morning when i was pacing around trying to think of names, and it really does fit!

ChrisGilbert Apr 06, 2006 06:05 PM

A very nice name indeed. Has a nice sound to it, and Moon kind of goes with Ghost in concept. Very cool!

kirby Apr 06, 2006 06:30 PM

MoonGlow would be a good name in keeping with the sunglow theme.
Isn't it great to have so much unsolicited advice?

Moonglow sounds great and is a good discription. if not moon glow then I think snowGlow is the only other good pick.

I asked my wife thats not a snake person and she really liked Moonglow. So thats two votes for moonglow

I agree with the anything but avalanche statement... reminds me too much of a ride at Sea World... or a slurpie or something... lol

really a sunglow with the brightness taken out. What do you think. Or "Solar Eclipse"? Do we win something if we came up with the final name and were first?

I vote the glacier boa as a name for the hypo snow.

How about SNOPLOW the SNOWGLO .... Ok, maybe I am being a bit silly here, but...............

slithering_serpents Apr 07, 2006 02:50 PM

..so you can see what that snake looks like as it matures. My 'prediction' is that the background color will become pink, but the saddles looking like a snow. I just don't think now is the time to give a name, no matter how tempting.
