Our baby leo seems scared to death of crickets. She jumps and runs in terror every time a cricket bumps into her. She will sometime watch them as if shes going to stalk them but then quickly decides this wouldnt be a good idea. Its rather comical. Just wanted to know if this was normal for the lil one?

lol what does he do with mealworms? might be just a little stressed if its a new acquisition. I have seen a few hatchlings scared of crix, but not as big as yours.

I have to say its a little strange. Maybe the crix you're offering are too big? You can try pinching off the hopper legs too, that will slow down the crix so maybe she'll be a little calmer. My guess is that she'll grow out of it eventually.
