How easy to clean?!?

KWasser Apr 06, 2006 09:03 PM

Hello again,

I'm getting my cage set up, and want to know how easy this set up is going to be to clean.

I'm using a glass aquarium, with 3 to 6 inches of bedabeast on the bottom. I'll also have a water dish and a wooden log hiding place. Should I expect to clean out that type of set up once a week? How easy is that set up to clean? Do I just scoop out everything and replace with all new bedabeast? Is that all there is to clean up?

Also, how often does the cage require misting? I heard that the frogs don't like to be misted directly, so, what, should I just spray the topsoil with a fine layer of mist?

If you spot clean the poop when you see it, it shouldnt need a full change that often. As for spraying, keep it nice and moist. Im not sure if they like to be directly sprayed or not, but if they dont like it, just spray the rest of the tank around them.
