What sex do you think this black throat is. SHvar and bengalensis think it's a female. Is there anyone out there that disagrees or agrees? He/she is about 7 months old. thanks.....

A male albig has what appears like 2 shot glasses inside the base of their tail after only a few months of age. They stand out like a Las Vegas Casino. Its a female, no doubt. Make sure your cage is set up the right way or you will have the same problem I had recently with her refusing to lay infertile eggs and it can kill them on the second reabsorbtion. Good luck and keep constant watch of her weight, health, and food intake for any changes as they are your indicators.

She is 5.5 plus feet and over 16lbs again. Shes doing great. As a matter of fact the skin on each side of the incision closed up in less than 2 weeks with new skin and scales growing underneath with one stitch fallin out and others loosening at just over 2 weeks. Her appointment for stitch removal is the 8th but half of them will fall out by then. She ate 4 chicken peeps, 8 hissers, and an egg today, 2 jumbo mice,and 5 hissers yesterday, and a few days before she had a week old chicken peep (12 inches long over 5 ounces) and 4 hissers. I found someone who can supply me with hissers cheap delivered when mine dont reproduce fast enough. Shadow (my other cross) eats a few hissers occaisionally, my friends female red tegu (about a year old soon and 3 ft) eats them and the blue tongue skink also. New pics next...
