Babies: Male to Female Ratio

How did you guys/gals do this year? Out of a clutch of 7, 5 were male

Having never bred BP's but considering it for the future, why do many males make you frown?

Simple mathematics. 1 male can breed many females (produce multiple clutches), 1 female cannot breed many males. Besides, 5 het males and I already have the homo male.

If someone was breeding normals, not really intending to keep any offspring, the sexes don't really matter, right?
