Ready for Daytona NRBA Show ?

Duke White Jul 29, 2003 02:54 PM

Hopefully you all remember me, Duke "the bubbler bowl man" White. For those of you who do not know me, I will take this chance to tell you a little about myself. I am a well off business man, who made his money from a bubbler bowl empire. I have attended the reptile show in daytona since it's first year there. That being said, I will get down to brass tax. I have to attend the first annual Bubbler Bowl Convention in Australia, which unfortunately overlaps the show in Daytona. This is indeed a dilemma. I believe I have made all the necessary arrangements so that I may attend both functions. I am going to all of this trouble for one and only one reason, that is to speak with Mr. Ralph Davis about some matters, which occurred last year. The squalid nature of these matters does not allow me to go into details on the forum. I do hope to see all of you ate the show. I will be bringing a wide array of bubbler bowls this year, some are the basics and some are a wild new creation of mine.
Thanks

Didnt you go into what happened a little while ago. You said that Ralph beat you up or something, when really you were just drunk?? Ya, I think I remember you saying something about that...

Were you in Daytona last year? I could count on 1 finger how many people weren't drinking, or wasn't drunk. To make it easier for you, everyone was drinking to some extent. Whether you are drunk or not, when some jerk pushes you into a table on purpose, it is his fault. That is what happened last year. I was drinking, having fun, mingling, and minding my own business. My evening was cut short when this person, obviously jealous of my bubbler bowl empire, struck the first blow in what is known as "The Battle of Daytona." Now, stay out of my business and mind your own. This has nothing to do with you.
Thanks for your time

then dont post it all over a public forum. I doubt Ralph Davis is jealous of your bubbler bowl invention as he bp's in his facility that are worths thousands and thousands and thousands over dollars. Also, as I hear it, you were drunk and fell through the table.

Pathetic. Are you drunk r[bleep]ht now? Did we skip everyday of E[bleep]lish class? How much money exactly is "thousands and thousands and thousand over dollars"? And what is the deal with repeat[bleep] th[bleep]s you hear? Why don't you stick to what you KNOW and leave the th[bleep]s you HEAR out of our ar[bleep]uments shall we? By the way, are you and Ralph dat[bleep]? Is that why you [bleep]ht his battles for him? So, you wear the pants in the relationship, I'm [bleep]uess[bleep].
Thanks a[bleep]ain
Duke White

Sorry, I couldnt make out half of your post. Also, I dont even know Ralph Davis, but I am pretty sure I can tell a truth from a lie. Their were witnesses who came on here and backed up what Ralph Davis said about what happened. Go look in the archives if you have too. What the hell is a bubbler bowl anyways?? You make it sound like you are famous for inventing a bowl that bubbles(just assuming that it does this). A bubbler bowl convention(I just have to laugh at this one).

...convention.

Could you imagine?

Wonder if they're like Trekkies at a Sci-Fi con...maybe they've even made up their own "Bubbler Language!" Blow once for yes, twice for no, or something like that?

Trippy, man...but it sure would be fascinating to see!

I knew all the good shows were on the East coast, but damn.....this Datona show sounds like it is gonna be REALLY, REALLY funny!!

Bubble Empires and drunken brawls?

I am SO disappointed to miss the entertainment.

Mr. White,

First, if you do not want people talking about your affairs, or episodes then you need not to bring them up on a public forum. I can guarantee you one thing about Ralph, he is no way jealous over your as you put it "Bubbler Empire" He has single animals in his collection that are worth probably more than your entire "Bubbler Empire". Now I remember hearing about the episode that happened and if my memory serves me correctly, I heard from witnesses that you fell over the table and were not pushed by anyone and that yes you were heavily intoxicated at the time and may not remember to clearly what exactly happened. While I was not there at that present time to witness it myself, some of the witnesses I remember hearing from are people whom I trust their word and judgement. While the embarrassment might be a tad bit to handle it does not mean that you should start another problem this year. If you are going to be able to attend the show this year then great. But a word of friendly advice, it might be wise to just move on from the past and handle the future. I would think that you would want to have a nice enjoyable time at the show and try and make some money rather than hash old situations and possible have a bad show. Now you might be a very nice guy but as I can see by the way your acting your not casting yourself or your buisness in a good tone. Some people will see your reactions to others responses and will more than likely avoid your table at the show and not purchase from you.
Now before you come back with a childish comment on myself regarding Ralph as you did that other person, I am not anything to Ralph nor his buisness but have talked to him on a few occasions and can say that from our talks, and from others I know that know him well he is a great guy.

Too funny! I bet Ralph betta steer clear...the bubble bowl man is going to get him!!!! I mean jeeze, with a powerful enough bubble bowl, you could do some serious damage. Watch out Ralph!

HAHA!

EmberBall Jul 29, 2003 05:34 PM

Are you for real? Bubbler bowl, you mean a water dish with an airstone? Is there really is a bubbler bowl convention in Australia, are you sure it is a bubble bowl, or bubble pipe? If this is some kind of joke, it IS funny. I really hope this is a joke.
