Proper corn incubation temps...

reptile_man7mm Apr 07, 2006 07:46 PM

I know everyone suggest temps between 80-90F, and cooler temps usually is more females..warmer more males..

Just wondering what you all set your incubator temps on..

thanks

I am pretty sure that sex is not temperature dependant in corns. I would not keep the egg temps above 85. 77-83 is probably your best bet.

Corn snake gender is determined by genetics, not incubation temperature. The standard corn snake egg incubation temperature is 82F. Temperatures that are too high can kill babies and/or cause deformities.
