Anyhoo....I put a bowl, tub, etc. up-side-down over whoever I'm gonna take pics of. Whatever you put over them should be just a hair larger around than they are, coiled....so that they are forced to stay coiled. I put a weight on top so they can't nose out underneath. Then I leave them alone for about ten minutes....less time for the really mellow ones. Then I get everything ready...lights, camera, etc. I take the bowl off and they will stay like that pretty well. I gently move them with my fingertips if their heads or a tail is hidden. If one gets nervous and starts to head for the hills, I "gently" bump them on the nose until they change their minds and turn back to face the camera. It works pretty good. Some of my Colombian babies will hold a position for a long time.

They are just beautiful. I didn't realize they had soooo much color. My Sonorans are leopard hets (tons of color but also alot of black) and I have never seen the hypo Sonorans up close (still haven't), but your pictures are great. Are they really smooth feeling like the leopards? I just love that.
As far as all that noise when they eat... you must be warming the rats up too much and they are just blowing on them to cool them down.

Those two are beautiful!! What markings!!
You've done it again. I never liked leopards. Then I saw yours and fell in love with them. Now this?? Is there any end to your diabolical subliminal tactics? LOL!

hehehe.....

Seriously, these little guys are the coolest! I have two older ones that I will get pics of soon. They are just as nice, but they all have a little different look. The older ones are more mellow than the babies who are definitely "finger killers" I get such a kick out of them. The light colored one wants to kill me every day. I pick her up and kiss her for punishment. Next time we meet (to exchange babies) I'll bring them. They are a hoot!
