my flavi argus just everted his(or hers) hemipenis or what looked to be one. I have heard that females can also evert something that looks like a hemipenis but isnt. Any idea why he would have everted it while taking a poop? Does this mean he is really a he? Also why would he be dragging his behind across the dirt? Any ideas would be great.... other then that he has been doing great, eating a lot has great temps and swims a lot... thanks.

I only saw one and there wasnt anything on the end of the evert that I noticed.... crazy how hard it is to sex this guys.

My monitors and my tegu all evert when pooping and dragging the butt is just their toilet paper Generally females are smoother looking and males tend to look like an ancient weapon of mass destruction(like a club with spurs).

well Im still not sure what I saw, it didn’t look all crazy and like a flower at the tip, which would make him a her. But also I wasn’t really looking hard at the time because I was a little surprised to see anything at all, I just saw him squat like he was about to 'crap' and then it came out. So seeing as I didn’t really look real close at it might still be a male. I'll hopefully see it again soon ha.

If you see it again,generally smoother is female.My male tegu actually is disgusting to look at.If president Bush saw it ,he would invade that country too.WMD.
