You see, my blood pythons are always spilling their water tubs. And I am constantly having to remove them and bleach out their cages because a mold appears under their papers. Now, I have no sick bloods, but I have heard somewhere that mold can be harmful. Does anyone know for sure one way or the other if mold is dangerous or safe or,.... what?? If so,. include all related information. Thank you.

Rob,.. I think we need you here for a sec.

Mold is very harmful. I roasted up some hotdogs last night and when I pulled out the buns, wouldnt ya know, there was mold all over them! That really irked me, eating plain hotdogs, so yes, mold is very harmful.

(sorry couldnt resist...hehe)

Ah, the irony... I have a book with this info called 'What's Wrong With My Snake' which I can never keep track of, and it's currently lost again. At any rate, it mentions a colubrid whose cage was kept very very moist. It eventually got a 'respiratory infection' and died, and upon dissection, they found fungal hyphae acutally growing in inside of its lungs. So... THAT would be bad! But it was from the moisture and lack of venilation and not the presence of other molds in the cage itself. If I happen across the book and can find the rest of the info I'll let you know...
