Normal Male Ball. (ques. about ID pics)

MarkS Apr 08, 2006 12:19 PM

Just a pic of a normal male. I've been working on putting together a folder of pictures of all of my animals for identification purposes. Would just a top down picture showing the animals pattern be good enough or should I also get some side shots? Does anyone else do photos ID's on their animals? How do you arrange and catalog the pics?

When I started to obtain a lot of breeding stock I used a alpha/numeric system for my snakes. I only use pictures for my website. I take pictures of the tops (just like what you have shown) then number them as such; M1 = Male #1 F3 = Female #3
Do you understand? This is a lot easier for me to keep logs on them all of their feeding, sheds, matings, weights, or whatever I feel I need to write down on them.
Each snake has their own card, and number. It's just a whole lot easier when you keep a large number of snakes.
I hope this makes sense.
Good luck and nice boy you got there.
