Breeding times

earthpig23 Apr 08, 2006 08:01 PM

Okay I bred all my breeding sized snakes already this year. My rainbow females are great sized and healthy(both are 6 feet). My male however is just over 3 feet and growing. So I couldnt pair up my BRB's.
My two questions are
1) What is a good size for a male to breed? Lenght and weight?
2) HAs anyone had any luck cooling and breeding BRB's in the fall? was thinking of trying it but if it's a moot point will just wait and shoot for the spring season.

Owned by 18 snakes and 14 geckos
but I just love my BRB's

We always cycle our boas in the fall, our female usually ovulates in December with birth of babies in May.
hope that helps
