FINALLY.....She lays....More

Snakebstr Apr 09, 2006 01:11 AM

I have been waiting for this female to lay for a while and she finally does it. It actually started out me not knowing for sure when she was gonna lay. I never saw he Ovulate she was just getting really thin and I knew she had eggs and I new how many, I just didn't think she was that far along until she was so thick, and I didn't write down her sheds because I didn't think she was close to laying until she was so heavy yet thin. If that make any sense. Well here are her stats and photo's

Her eggs were 590 for 6 eggs
She was 990 grams after laying(really thin for her)
She weighed 1590 grams before laying. But she had been off feed for sometime. She did lay last year also.

Cool pics, Normal x What?

snakebstr Apr 09, 2006 09:02 AM

Should be Normal(Labyrinth)Female X Cinnamon Male But I am not 100% sure, I did my breeding different this season. I put several different Co-dom males in with most of my females so that I might/would get a higher ratio of fertile eggs. Plus I wasn't sure if some of my males would breed early and I had males that were already large enough. I will probably do more single breedings next season. I just look at it like this I may not know what is in the eggs but I will know when they hatch, it's like christmas, you never know what your gonna get until you get it.

Here are the possiblities.
Cinnamons
Yellow bellies
Pastels

I sure hope he is the daddy of these eggs. Thanks David

I wouldn't mind some Cinnamons in my collection. If you have any really nice looking males drop me a line. I will probably be buying another co-dom male this year.

Ok, I will let you know what I get. But if the babies look anything like my male I should get some nive ones. Thanks David
