abyssus....

Rich G.cascabel Apr 09, 2006 03:23 PM

been having problems getting pics to upload (problem with my computer, not KS) and really didn't expect this one to upload but it did. It's an in-situ pic from yesterday of a gravid female abyssus basking in Ephedra (Tea Bush). BPO and I found 18-19 abyssus total in about four hours. I'll put some better pics up later when I have time (and if they upload for me,lol),

Very nice snake, Rich. Hope to see some of those myself this year.

Good luck in your quest! Here's a few more to whet your appetite....little female that had given birth last year.

subadult male and mature female. Don't know if the male is a younger prospective mate or one of her offspring from 3-4 years previous, but based on what I know of the family structures of C.cerberus in my area I suspect the latter.

basking under a rock. THe coil in the far right corner belongs to the second female. Her head and tail were visible below and too the right but out of the frame of hte picture.
