MO: seller's license?

MattieMay83 Apr 09, 2006 07:33 PM

Hi, I am somewhat new to the herp world. I have two rescued leopard geckos and they have bred this year. i have two hatchlings and 8 eggs in the incubator, with at least two more on the way from my female.

I would like to sell the babies, but I am unsure if it is legal for me to simply sell live animals. Is there some sort of license/permit that I need to sell animals? I certainly don't want to break the law!

To the best of my knowledge you do not need a permit to sell leopard geckos in MO.

You might want to ask your local government about business licenses though.
