Update from vet visit-Beanie

Linda G Jul 29, 2003 04:19 PM

Well, beanie has not lost any weight and the vet said she
looks and acts great and her incision is completely healed.

A full panel of blood work all came out normal from kidneys
to calcium levels. I can't believe it after 8 weeks of
hell she has been through. I have been force feeding only
2 teaspoons/day of food, but plenty of water and calcium
supplement. The vet wants me start feeding this every 2 days
for now in hopes that she will start eating. She is even
starting to shed. I believe I am in worse shape from all of
this than she is.

What do you make of all this?

Thanks,

I am hoping this is a sign that maybe she will return
to her old self soon. We have a lot of catching up to
do as soon as I know she is ready.
