Don't ignore my Jacksons post people LOL

TylerStewart Apr 10, 2006 02:35 PM

I'm still looking for what others consider a big Jacksons chameleon. I grabbed what was the largest female Jax I have ever seen by a long shot, and I'm curious how she stacks up against other's "big" Jax. I weighed her today and she rivals my bigger male panthers in size.

That's a lame post Tyler.... We need some action on here! Maybe if you post a picture of a Jackson wrestling a cow or something, more people would respond...LOL XO&XO&

Lame post? This is coming from someone who's last thread was simply asking someone if they got their e-mail? At least I'm ON TOPIC!

See Feeniee in action!

I saw a HUGE female Jax at LLL Reptile at the show...She was easily 13 inches long at loaded with live young....Abswolutely beautiful. But i could tell she was big beafore she had eggs. She had thick legs, a meaty tail, and a big head.....Amazing animal...

That's her, and she's parked here in a cage with me now LOL. I sat there for 10 minutes trying to convince myself that it was really a Jacksons cham on Saturday morning. After thinking about it all day Saturday I knew I needed her, and claimed her on Sunday morning. I can't believe nobody bought her Saturday. I'm not admitting to how big she is yet, I'm waiting to see what others consider a "big" jacksons. I don't think I would call her gravid though. She's meaty for sure, but doesn't have a gravid look.

Dude....that cant be a jackson's.....I'd love to see the male that has to mount that thing. Holy crap you better have some huge males over there too! I know if I was a normal sized male jackson's....I'd be running the other way as fast as I possibly could!

reptayls Apr 10, 2006 09:50 PM

Someone fed her steroids!!!!!!!
Dang, we have had some good sized jax - but she takes the cake!!

I hope you can find a big male....

She IS a big girl! Looks in really good shape too!

TylerStewart Apr 11, 2006 05:40 PM

She weighed in at 204 grams before I fed her. I haven't weighed her since, but she took about 6 big crickets and wanted more yesterday. She is bigger than my average adult male panther (maybe 170 grams), and similar in size to my biggest stuff I have here. I don't have any "monster" panthers, but this is definately a monster Jax. The funny thing is, LLL still had a large female I would guess was 140 grams (at the end of Sunday). She wasn't as big as this girl, but was huge still. Loren (LLLRep) said they had a similar huge sized male that someone got from them a few days prior. This girl is in good shape, has a nice long, strong tounge (very positive sign of health), and a strong grip. She's missing a toenail that is fully healed and has a few small scrapes here and there, but nothing I'm worried about. Age would be my biggest concern with her as she's likely got some years, but she's awesome and is a "fun" addition to have here. I'm still working on a name. I was thinking "Juanita," but that just wouldn't be right to some of us LOL. Glad everyone likes her!

Hmmm, I still like Linda... Juanita wouldn't work, you're absolutely right, I just can't see a "Juanita" around your house. I think Linda would work just fine!

She seems like she will "rock" the world!

Good luck.

Tyler,

She's a big girl and looking very healthy as well! I've seen some males of approximately 14" total length (horns not included of course) but i don't have weights on them. Impressive animal!
