What I wish would happen....

Ok so I figured out what I wish would happen at big shows like Daytona. I know that expos are for selling animals and stuff but I really wish people would bring animals from their own collections. Like some of the big breeders, and eve some of the smaller ones, that have amazing things in their collection. Like if someone had a hypo snow, they could bring it to the show if they had a table, and not sell it but just show it off. Or if someone has an adult whatever, something that most people only see pictures of, it would be great to see one at the shows. I feel that would help the snake community and help people see some of the things they only see as picture on the message boards. Now I know some folks are going to disagree with me because it would be a little extra work to bring some of those things just to show off but you know what I think it would be great to have people show off some of the special things in their collections. Just a thought.

I'm not anyone special but I would have to agree. I know it would be a pain but I live in northern CA and I'm not near any big shows other than maybe the Sac. show. Most the the herp. people I know are not all that excited at showing off they have hidden away. Things like snows, sunglows, goasts and so on I really have no idea what they look like as adults. Even a good picture usually doesn't work all that well when they always look better in person. So I agree completly in needing to see some of the special morphs in person so then you will know how awesome they are. Don't know if it will happen though seeing as how it's probably very difficult bringing them long distances, especially adults. Who knows you may even get more buyers if people knew what they would look like as adults. May even get more people into herps if they knew they could buy such a pretty animal. Just another thought. Thanks for reading.
