I have a female hog who I'm hoping to get to breeding weight by time to cool her next winter, since I think I'm getting a male (friend's breeding project turned out to be a 2.0 pair). She's on mouse fuzzies, but I wondered about the nutrition of rats vs mice. I thought I remember seeing somewhere that rats were a bit more nutritious (or just more fatty?) anybody have any suggestions? She has a lot of growing to do but she's almost 4, so I think it should be doable.
thanks

I feed mine a mixture of mice and rats, as long as your snake isnt getting fatty lumps around its tail its perfectly ok.
