I'd love to have a ball python, but i have MANY cats...like the cat lady... and a lil tiny papillon dog who is 4.3 pounds and i'm afraid that it might eat one... plus i love bunnies and chickens...i have 6 chickens and i couldnt feed them those. granted i like mice, but they look evil in a way...with those red eyes and sharp teeth. if i do get a python im thinking a childrens python i hear those dont get too big...oh well, enough rambling....~kin

I have never heard of anyone feeding a bp chickens. Maybe some people will give them a rabbit on occasion but it would have to be a very small baby rabbit. I think you are misinformed on how large they get.

balls make great pets as well...here is a pick of my 2003 female. BTW our cat sits and watchs her all the time and no reaction from the snake is ever noticed.
The bin is 36 inches just for reference. I don't think she will get much larger, maybe just a little heavier.
