About 7 years ago I got a Madagascar spiney tailed lizard (oplurus cuvieri) from a pet shop, they got it from someone that did not want him anymore. He quickly became part of our family! Well last night he passed away We would like VERY much to replace him, but are unable to find one. If anyone can help please do! We miss him very much!!!!!!

I love those guys also think they are very cool and would love a pair but too busy right now. I'am sorry you lost your friend and hope you feel better soon.

I have seen them advertised in the last couple weeks off and on, in the Kingsnake classifieds.

Just keep your eyes open, and if I see them again I will let you know.

Take Care

are you looking at the spiny tailed iguana? If not where did you see them, because I can not find them. That is not the same lizard that we had. I have a picture of him but not sure how to post it.

when first reading your post, i wondered why you posted in here, as i had no idea what that lizard was. spiny tails give me visions of uromastyx so i looked up the lizard and it does look alot like a collared with a spiny tail
