This is a Nov. '05 and he's doing well. I really like him. His belly is almost entirely black, really cool. Quite similar to my black milks and with all the appetite!

.....it looks more like a black milk to me. Doesn't look right to be an Andean.

I'll consult with Keith Hilson who I got him from, but this one was marked as the Andean and another as a Black Milk, of the two 05s I got from him

.....and see what Keith says. That snake you have doesn't have the typical spotted/mottled snout that Andeans have, and you'd said something in your original post that made me think when you said this snake's belly was almost completely black already. On the black milks I have, the first thing to go all black were the bellies also. I've never seen an Andean that has an all-black belly.
Regardless, that is still a nice snake that you have there

Awesome picture Keith! What a beautiful animal.
Good luck this year with all your projects.

Keith! Thanks for checking out this post and helping me out on this. I was starting ot get suspicious as that FL female is really reminding me of my other black milks! She's a PIG too!
Anyways I like them all the same, the Andean is beautiful and I had a feeling he was just a bit different than the others.
Take her easy...

Hey thanks for helping solve this out! I'll post some pics of my "other" Andean soon then. He's fun, but I have to say the Black Milks are definently some characters.
