dropped snake eggs

stevet Apr 11, 2006 02:52 PM

i just had a tub of rat snake eggs about a week from hatching get knocked to the floor by my dog. they only fell about a foot or two, none broke and there wasnt any obvious damage. i picked them up and put them back in the tub and into the incubator. has this happened to anyone else? i am just wondering how likely is it that they are ok? thanks.

when i lived at home with my parents my mom was picking up and nocked my incubator on the ground. it had 25 corn snake eggs in it. she picked it up not knowing which way they were origionally and then neglected to tell me. well after a couple of days i went to check on them and noticed that something had happened and so i let them be. 2-3 weeks later they all hatched every one of them. it was about a 3 foot fall on to carpet so who knows. they are very resilient.
