Acckkk...You absolutely kill me with these pics, so you need to stop right now..lol...Your animals are gorgeous, but I did want to ask you. Did your smoothie trans come from a double het trans/smoothie pairing or were you one of those extremely lucky people that got one to pop up in a batch.

My double het "marketed" leucy X Trans babies should be hatching in 3 weeks and I am so excited I can't even tell you.

Always good work with your trans and keep posting pics...PLEASE

This dragon is a total one-of-a-kind specimen. Straight out of the egg, he was a christmas tree green color with red stripes down his back. He came from double het parents, which never produced another one like him.
Your babies should do really well. After they hatch, you should post some pics of them. I am really interested to see what they look like. Thank you for the complements! Josh

I was wonderng how the smoothie gene worked. It doesn't sound like it's really breeding true. How do you think the smoothie genetics work?

The smoothie gene is floating around in my collection, but I think that it is pure luck that I got a hypotrans to show it. I know that it is not a recessive trait like hypopastels and trans. It's almost like you need to put a bunch of smoothies, and partials together, and hope you get a few. Rob from bearded dragons and other creatures has been working with this trait for some time. He would know way more about it than I do. Josh
