i have a gold tegu. how do i know if it is a yellow shade of an argentine black and white, or a yellow shade of a columbian black timor,....or could it be something else...well if you have any ways of figuring it out...plz tell me....if you give me you email address then i can send you a pic.

also, does probing work on tegus....if not is there any way to sex them without injections?

One way to tell the difference between Ar[bleep]entine and Columbian Te[bleep]us is the loreal scales (The lar[bleep]e scales or scale between the nose and the eye). 2 for Ar[bleep]entine and 1 lo[bleep] one for the Columbians, if you still don't [bleep]et it, heres a pa[bleep]e that m[bleep]ht better explain than me:

K...I think someone else already said it but I couldn't read with all the 'bleeps'...so here it is AGAIN. The scales between the nose and eye - Argentine has two and the columbian has one....hope that helps.
