Clowns

dnreptiles Apr 11, 2006 08:15 PM

Can some one help me out?

male clown = $?
female clown = $?
100% het M clown = $?
100% het F clown = $?

Thank you in advance. I was just looking around the classifieds and some breeders sites and there seems to be some BIG differences out there and I want to avoid being ripped off.

Male and Female Clowns seem to be going for about the same, around 8000 to 10000 each. The hets males are around 400 to 600 bucks, and females for over 2000 I think. I havent seen any Female hets so that price might be a little over.

Male hets $400-$600
Females around $1500

I've seen clowns priced anywhere between $5000-$10,000 in the past few months and a couple of really fugly ones around $4K.

I think I saw that ad and considering the female will probably breed this season (if I remember correctly) the deal is not too bad. If you are considering it I would definately follow up and verify that paperwork before purchasing tho.

I'd buy a really "fugly" Clown for 4K. . . A Clown makes Clowns regardless. You could breed the hottist Clown to a het and get some ugly ones. Breed it to a Pastel you got Pastel het Clowns so regardless you make your moneys back. Just my thought on the ugo's thow.

4k for a clown sure. but for a pair of hets? that doesnt seem right!

Deffently if its a Clown. If its a pair of hets and shes over 1500(or close to it) and hes breeder size, not been breed this year. I'd pay it. You can get Clowns out this season. If she was breed, or they wernt of size then no. The pair of hets in the Classifieds I think are breedable and I would pay 4K for them. Who knows if you offered cash he might take a little lower price. Never hurts to ask. In my eyes thow that pair is worth it.

I believe the pair i saw for that price were a LONG way away from breeding.

Then I'd deffently pass on them. If they arnt going to make your money or the snake back untill a year or 2 then I'd pass, save the money and get a better project.
