New rack I just built for hatchling leopard geckos. I use MDF wood and never had any problems and it is cheap. I guess it wouldn't work for snakes because they are a lot heavier. Well, here they are. 54 tubs with 3 inch belly heat tape. What do you think?

looks good! What did it cost you?
For the wood, screws, and 45 feet of heat tape it cost me about 200 dollars maybe a little less.
