Someone said they thought that the albino gene would cancel the img gene, the most likely result. But if we look at paradox albino sand boa (I know nobody looks to other snakes but work with me) the same gene that cause that type of albino is also adds black spots to the snake which are missing in the hats and the other type of albino sand boa. So while it most likely while be canceled out be the albino gene it might just add black spots to the snake, if it is genetic. But I don’t think most img's are genetic. I know that boas while become img like if they regurge a large meal some times. Most boas that regurge don’t change but if multiple factors are present then they can change. Most often higher then normal temps, recent moves, and overly large prey items are all present and it’s an adult or sub-adult snake. So it go like this person a moves there collection to a new location (or sells said adult snake). Cages aren't dialed in the same and temps go up sharply. Person A hasn't stock as many rats do to the up coming move and says hey he could take something bigger. high temps, stress from moving and large prey induce a regurge and the snake freaks and then the next shed he turns darker, even all black. I have had this happen to a couple boas and I have talk to a number of other people that have had boas do this. So I wonder if something similar has happened to most of the img balls out there. If I remember right most where already img like when people found them. So my question is to the people that watched the change happen, did any of these snakes regurge before the shed and changed color?
